Alice Kavili

Portfolio Coordinator

As Portfolio Coordinator, Alice works at the intersection of partnerships, impact, and design to support teams in tracking and managing milestones and budgets, coordinating research and prototyping activities, as well as executing the partnerships strategy for our Africa Portfolio. She collaborates closely with program and project leads to facilitate positive team dynamics and assist with all project administrative and logistical challenges.

Prior to joining IDEO.org, she worked at the University of Washington-Kenya where she coordinated global health research projects aimed at influencing Paediatric HIV/AIDS Care Policies in Kenya. Previously, she was a volunteer at FOCUS Kenya, helping mobilize resources for their local and international leadership development conferences. Alice began her career as an administrative assistant at the Nairobi Parenting Clinic and Mental Health Services Limited where she organized training for primary caregivers to better nurture their children into realizing their potential in life.

Alice holds a bachelor of psychology degree from Egerton University and is currently pursuing an MBA with a specialization in project management at Kenyatta University. On weekends, she likes to go on long relaxing drives and have deep conversations with friends and family.
