Ankita Roy

Senior Service Design Lead

As a Senior Service Design Lead at IDEO.org, Ankita helps teams zoom in and out to consider both the small details and big picture of how products, services and systems come together. Using a blend of service design, systems thinking, and design strategy, she is passionate about identifying root causes and impactful levers for change.

Prior to IDEO.org, Ankita worked on improving access to and delivery of healthcare services. As a design strategist at the Design & Innovation Group at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Ankita collaborated with teams across the hospital to envision and deliver products and services in areas such as preventative health, remote care, access to care, and transitions in care. She also has experience with organizational transformation and has worked on vision and strategy, culture change, and branding for Fortune 500 companies in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

Ankita holds an MFA in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design. She was born in India, grew up in Hong Kong and currently calls Brooklyn home. Outside of work, you’ll probably find her at Prospect Park—with a friend, alone with a book, on a walk, or a jog. It’s her happy place.
