Michelle is the Senior Marketing and Communications Lead at IDEO.org, collaborating with designers and partners across geographies to envision, design, and execute on marketing and storytelling initiatives that build momentum around the value of design in the social sector. 

Before joining IDEO.org, Michelle worked for the Health Alliance for Violence Intervention, an organization committed to promoting global equity for victims of violence while combating racial injustice and health disparities, and oversaw communications and fundraising for the BMI Foundation, helping to bring quality music and performing arts education to underserved youth across the country. She has also worked extensively in health care, serving as Communications Officer for Columbia University Medical Center.

Michelle received her BA in Journalism and Marketing, graduating with honors from The University of Houston. An extroverted introvert, you can usually find her exploring local shops and restaurants with friends, catching the latest Broadway show, or snuggled up with her pup while enjoying a good book or TV binge.
